Legal
Privacy Policy.
Effective 24 August 2026
We collect as little as a working website allows, we tell you exactly what that is, and the same rights apply whether you read this from New York, London, or Singapore.
Who we are
Reveal.market ("Reveal", "we", "us") is operated from the United States and serves professional participants in the alternative investment market worldwide — allocators, asset managers, and service providers. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have, wherever you are.
Questions about this policy, or anything it covers, go to info@reveal.market.
What we collect
This is a marketing site with a single form, and we collect only what the site actually needs:
- Design partner applications — the audience you select, your email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your name, your firm, and a note. We also record the time of the application and the page it was submitted from.
- Correspondence — if you email us, we receive your address and whatever you send.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to serve and secure the site.
We do not collect financial information, government identifiers, or any special categories of personal data through this site.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We measure how the site is used with PostHog, an analytics service, in a deliberately restrained configuration: no cookies or persistent identifiers, no session recording, no cross-site tracking, and no advertising. What we see is aggregate — pages viewed, referring sites, country, browser — and the events are processed on PostHog's EU infrastructure. Fonts and media are served from the site itself.
You can object to this measurement at any time by emailing info@reveal.market; most browser content blockers will also stop it, and the site works identically with it blocked.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- assess and respond to design partner applications, and run the programme with those we accept
- reply to correspondence
- operate, secure, and improve the website
- meet legal obligations that apply to us
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with equivalent laws, our legal bases are: taking steps you request before entering an agreement (your application), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and building the platform, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Information is shared only with the service providers that run this site's infrastructure — hosting, serverless functions, and application storage (currently Google Cloud and Google Workspace) and usage measurement (PostHog, on its EU infrastructure) — under agreements that limit what they may do with it, and with authorities where the law genuinely requires it. If Reveal is ever part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal information may transfer with the business, under this policy's protections.
International transfers
We are a US-based company with a global audience, so your information is processed in the United States and in other countries where our infrastructure providers operate, including the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where information leaves a jurisdiction that restricts transfers (such as the EEA or the UK), it travels under recognised safeguards — our providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms.
How long we keep it
Design partner applications are kept while the programme is being assembled and for as long as an application remains under consideration or active; correspondence is kept as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after. Technical logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard short cycles. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner — see below.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — and we honour those requests globally, not only where a statute compels us to.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you additionally have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time where processing rests on consent, and to complain to your supervisory authority.
If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (California among them), you have the rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@reveal.market. We may need to verify the request came from you, and we respond within the time the applicable law sets.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, submissions travel encrypted, and access to stored applications is limited to the people assembling the programme. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we do not promise otherwise — but we keep what we collect small, which is the strongest protection there is.
Children
This site is for professional market participants and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When the site's data practices change, this policy changes with them, and the effective date at the top moves. Material changes to how we treat information already collected will be flagged on this page before they take effect.
